Tiundaland marks Lyremadr’s debut release. His talharpa composition is based on the works of legendary folk musician Carl Ersson Bössa “Byss-Calle” from Älvkarleby, Sweden, and whose skill with the key-harp (nyckelharpa) is said to have been second to none.

Byss-Calle was born in Älvkarleby on April 26, 1783, and lived there until he died on January 9, 1847. He became 64 years.

The close historical and cultural ties between Sweden and Poland are reflected in the rich musical traditions of both countries, and the Polska music genre stands as a testament to the enduring cultural exchange between these two nations.

While the Polska is primarily associated with Sweden, it is rooted in a similar Polish dance called the Polonaise, popular in Poland and Sweden during the 1500s and 1600s.
